Gehl - Eye Level City App Privacy Policy

The Gehl Eye Level City App (henceforth referred to as the “Service”) is a web-based service by Gehl Architects Finance & Communication ApS (henceforth referred to as the “Our Company”).

The Service may store your username and e-mail address when you register to conduct a photo walk.

Information we collect automatically when you use the Services
a) The images you take of the city as well as their latitude and longitude
b) The annotations you make to your own and other’s pictures
c) Your route when you decide to do a photo walk
We have deliberately designed the location tracking in such a way that you are asked permissions to track you and the Service only tracks you when you are in ‘walking mode’. It is only when you select the option to ‘go for a walk’ that location tracking is turned on. Every time you go on a walk you are notified that this is the case.

How will we use your data?

Our Company processes your data so that we can:

Our Company does not transfer your personal data to a third party without your consent. Under specific circumstances and with reference to legislation, it might be necessary to transfer information to public authorities.

How do we store your data?

The Service securely stores your data in data centers within the EU, which is compliant to GDPR. Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the EU or the EEA. Your data is only accessible to with a functioning API key provided by Our University.

When will we delete your data?

Our Company will delete or anonymize your personal data when you de-register as a user of the Service. This will take place as soon as possible and no later than 6 months after de-registration.

Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
